Mulya Amulya
'Mulya Amulya' is a tale of paying the ultimate price for a shared-family feeling shattered by the aggression of the for-profit state, society and market economy. It embarks with Ranju and Monju, his two sons, are selling their father's handed-down old furniture at auction. Among them takes seat the artful bidder, Khodaboks. However, the event gets shadowed when the two antithetical brothers instead drift into hesitancy about the past, a creeping sense of frustration with the present; a frown of anxiety over the future. In the midst of this conflict and argument between the personalities of the two brothers emerges the ideological cycle, greed, deceit, uncertainty, conspiracy and desperation. Guilt makes us all stand in front of the mirror of time. One might wonder, is a relationship, afterall, always about wining or losing in the end, or to try to keep it alive even if someone has to lose everything for it.
